About me

✨ Self-taught designer🌿 Nature lover🏋️ BYLD founder

👋🏻 Hi, I’m Katerina!

I’m a Product Designer who loves creating things from scratch ✨—whether it’s a digital product, a handmade project, or simply finding a better way to solve a problem.

I’m self-taught in design, driven by curiosity about creativity, human psychology, and the way people think and behave. That curiosity follows me beyond work too. I love being in nature 🌿, traveling and discovering different perspectives 🌍, running, and working out.

Recently, my passion for fitness turned into BYLD 🏋️, a personal project born from a problem we experienced ourselves: understanding how effective our workouts actually are. It represents what I enjoy most about design—starting with a real problem, questioning how things could work better, and creating something meaningful from the ground up.

I believe we are the leaders of our own minds 🧠, and I try to bring that mindset into both my life and my work: stay curious, keep learning, and never stop creating.

How I work

My approach

I combine research, product thinking and hands-on UI design to turn ambiguity into experiences people can understand and teams can build. I test assumptions early, make complex states explicit and create reusable patterns that help products move faster — without losing the details that build trust.

Evidence before assumptions.

I learn what matters before I design.

Clarity builds trust.

Every state and decision should feel understandable.

Systems make speed sustainable.

Reusable patterns help products and teams scale.

Design is a team sport.

I partner early with product, engineering and QA.
